Camp Counselor

Comments from Brittania

Why do you want to be a J-1 camp counselor?
3. I want to be a camp counselor because I have always been intrigued in learning new cultures and trying new things and just exploring what the world has to offer. I know as a camp counselor I will be working with staff and children from different nationalities and I'm looking forward to learning new things and teaching them new things. I want to be able to provide a fantastic summer for the kids, allowing them to enjoy their childhood days and make lasting memories. I never had the opportunity to be a part of such an uplifting program for children as a child, therefore I'd like to explore it now and feed my inner child also. While having a good time and teaching the kids some fun skills.

Why do you want to work with children and what will you accomplish in doing so?
2. As a recent nursing graduate. I've learned a lot over the years from my schooling and being able to care for children of different ages. Those clinical experiences were ideal for me because I had always wanted to be a pediatrician. I'm interested in giving children of all backgrounds, whether they have a special need or not, a sense of hope that they can be anything they want if they put their minds to it. As well as being able to do a variety of fun things with children and making their summer memorable. I’m also an author, I have a book out now on amazon, which was written for the sole purpose of motivating others. That’s my passion and I’m big on that. I enjoy encouraging others and providing a feeling of optimism in this world. So I want to leave the kids inspired and motivated, showing them that there are no limits to what they can accomplish if they believe in themselves. All while still having fun together.

What attributes do you have that would make you a good role model?
4. I am a woman with great moral values. Respect and politeness have been instilled in me since I was a child. I'm a very easy person to talk to and understanding . I strive to see the bright side of any circumstance and to be as optimistic as possible. I'm a compassionate and hardworking person. I'm also an extremely determined person who believes that anything I set my mind to can be accomplished.
